The Wilsons Creek, Huonbrook, Wanganui Association was established after the 2022 flood and landslide disaster to create a local voice and representation to Council, emergency services, roadwork builders and stakeholders.

The Association is open to all residents for input and contribution and continues to represent the interests of all local residents in our communities in a variety of ways.

Get Involved

Our small committee welcomes the participation of any residents in our valley who would like to get involved at any level of contribution.

This may include-

Helping with some administration
Helping with communications and design
Helping with website management
Helping with events and activities
Helping with catering / food events

Helping networking residents & community

Helping with creative ideas and input

Being part of the committee
Being part of the emergency radio stewards Being part of emergency/disaster response

Or anything else that helps and serves your local community
